Welcome to the online version of Pilvax magazine, an occasional
review of English-language literature published in Budapest Archives

Pilvax's sixth issue was published in the summer of 2009. This was our second issue to revolve around a central issue - in this case, music. The issue continued our drive to publish contemporary Hungarian literature in English for the first time - in this case Ferenc Barnās - along with up and coming writers from a variety of countries.

Additionally, this issue included our first ever interview - with the slowcore band Unbending Trees. The cover art and illustrations come from several collections, including the Open Society Archives, the Harvard Dictionary of Music, and All About Sounds and Ultrasonics.
